Built in 1989 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2009, the modern low rise Aparthotel Viva Tropic has a total of 301 guest rooms, including 208 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 93 studio flats, that are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 6,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 18 apartments at the Aparthotel Viva Tropic have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen every 3 days.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, a supermarket, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Aparthotel Viva Tropic also offers the use of three large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat up to 50 guests, which are all equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, a mini golf course, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Aparthotel Viva Tropic also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health & Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

The Aparthotel Viva Tropic also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
