Built in 1976 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2007, the modern low rise Aucanada complex has a total of 45 guest rooms, including 42 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 3 studio flats, which are distributed between several 2 and 3 storey buildings, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

Many of the apartments are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and all guest rooms come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator, kettle and other utensils, with toasters and other equipment available on request locally, as well as a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a terrace of balcony, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the magnificent Bay of Alcudia. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided every second day, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international dishes and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, supermarket, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground.
