Built in 1998, the modern low rise Aparthotel Alzinar Mar has a total of 117 guest rooms, including 111 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 6 studio flats, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

In addition to the above, the complex also features a further 32 one and two bedroom self contained villas, which are built within the garden area and are separate from the main building.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 3 apartments at the Aparthotel Alzinar Mar have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated Jacuzzi and separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

For sports enthusiasts, the Aparthotel Alzinar Mar also offers the use of 5 hard surface tennis courts, which are situated adjacent to the hotel and under separate management, as well as a multi-purpose sports activity area for five a side football and volleyball etc.

Guests staying at the Aparthotel Alzinar Mar also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium and sauna, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

The Aparthotel Alzinar Mar also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
