Build in 1992 in the style of a traditional Spanish manor house, the hotel was extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, and has a total of 93 guest rooms, including 45 twin rooms, 25 singles, 22 Suites and 1 Grand Suite, all of which are built over 4 floors and surrounded by almost 13,000m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel have an individually controllable air conditioning/heating system, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror and telephone, along with a satellite television, trouser press, direct dial telephone with ISDN laptop connections and Voice Mail System, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the hotel grounds. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms available for late departures, along with a choice of two large air conditioned buffet and a la carte restaurants, offering traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Arabella Sheraton Son Vida also offers the use of two large conference and meeting rooms which are ideal for exclusive business meetings or private functions for up to 70 persons. With select materials, a bespoke interior and an unforgettable view through the full-length windows, conferences in these surroundings are sure to be an exceptional experience. Guests may also make use of a fully fitted Business Centre, which can be booked on an hourly or daily basis. Here, they can transmit and receive e-mails and faxes, surf the Internet or work on Microsoft Office application software. The facilities include scanners and flat screen TFT style monitors.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
