Built in 1958 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the low rise Hotel Araxa has a total of 72 guest rooms, including 51 standard twin rooms and a further 21 singles, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst almost 1,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, high speed WiFi internet access and some rooms also have either a balcony or terrace with either pool or garden views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and luggage room for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals with complimentary WiFi connection in the lounge area, an air conditioned a la carte restaurant with waiter service for lunch and dinner, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as laundry and medical services and a comfortable lounge bar.

For business guests, the Hotel Araxa also offers the use of three large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with sun terraces and grassed gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a small cardiovascular gymnasium with Jacuzzi and sauna.
