Built in 1965 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern Hotel Castell Del Mar has a total of 230 guest rooms, including 192 standard twin rooms and a further 38 Junior Suites, which are built over 12 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, refrigerator and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, the Junior Suites at the Hotel Castell Del Mar also have a spacious lounge area, and all guest rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Castell Del Mar also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including high speed ADSL internet access.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Castell Del Mar also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium, sauna, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

The Hotel Castell Del Mar also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
