Part of the Adrian Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Colon Guanahani is situated around 200 metres from the Playa del Duque beach, in the popular resort of Costa Adeje on the south west coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 20km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1990, the modern low rise Hotel Colon Guanahani has a total of 150 guest rooms, including 145 twin rooms and a further 5 Suites, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access in selected areas of the hotel, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large outdoor saltwater swimming pools, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Colon Guanahani also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In recognition of the Adrian Group high standards of customer care and management systems, the Hotel Colon Guanahani has been awarded the internationally recognised Spanish Tourism Quality Institute ´Q´ quality mark which is only granted to establishments which meet the highest standards of continuous improvement in all services.
