Part of the Stil Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Continental Park is situated around 100 metres from
the beach in the popular resort of Playa de Muro on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately
60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the
commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern Hotel Continental Park has a total of 155 guest rooms, including 140 standard twin rooms and a further 15 singles, which are distributed between two independent 6 storey buildings, and set amidst almost 500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for hire and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have either pool or garden views. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international dishes and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, as well as a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables. The Hotel Continental Park also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring pistol shooting, pool games and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
