Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1991, the modern Hotel Farrutx has a total of 170 guest rooms, including 154 standard twin rooms and a further 16 singles, which are built over 8 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both pool and lounge bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section and Jacuzzi, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Farrutx also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own mini Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a further smaller indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi and sauna, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

The Hotel Farrutx also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
