Built in 2003 in a traditional Canarian style, the modern low rise Golf Plaza Resort has a total of 174 guest rooms, offering a choice of 168 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 6 deluxe Suites, which are built over 4 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, Suites at the Golf Plaza Resort feature either a Jacuzzi on the terrace or a hydro-massage bath, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Golf Plaza Resort also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the Atlantis Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a climatised Roman style pool with hydro-massage beds, high pressure and multi jet showers, Jacuzzi, sauna and plunge bath, Turkish bath, squash court and fitness room with cardio training machines, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments including aromatherapy, relaxation massages, reflexology, and both facial and body treatments.
