Built in 1962 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2008, the modern low rise Hotel Gran Sol has a total of 58 guest rooms, including 51 standard twin rooms and a further 7 singles, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst almost 1,200m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, bathrobes and hairdryer, direct dial telephone with ADSL Internet access, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini-bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, all guest rooms at the hotel are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms with toilets and showers for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Gran Sol also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Mini Spa, which features a further indoor heated pool with jet sprays, along with a sauna, Jacuzzi and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Gran Sol also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
