Built in 1976 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern Hotel Iberostar Royal Cupido has a total of 179 guest rooms that are built over 6 floors, and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area and the magnificent Bay of Palma. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access in selected areas of the hotel, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Royal Cupido also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids, including WiFi internet access.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Royal Cupido are also welcome to use the sporting and leisure facilities at the nearby Aparthotel Royal Cristina which includes two hard surface tennis courts and a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Aparthotel Royal Cristina also has a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools. Also based at the hotel is the "Diana Sportreisen" organisation, which offers guests guided cycling tours of the island 4 times a week, which have five different levels of difficulty and are accompanied by both German and English speaking guides. Also for those visitors who wish to cycle alone, they also offers a special road map of Majorca, with recommended tracks and elevation diagrams.
