Built in 1987 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern low rise Aparthotel La Pineda has a total of 351 guest rooms, including 151 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 200 standard twin rooms, all of which are distributed between 9 three and four storey buildings, and set amidst almost 23,000m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, apartments on the complex also have an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, along with a combined lounge/dining room with two sofa-beds. All guest rooms at the Aparthotel La Pineda are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to sports enthusiasts, the Aparthotel La Pineda also offers the use of a large multi sports activity area for mini soccer etc along with two clay surface tennis courts, a volley ball court and two further boccia courts.

Guests staying at the Aparthotel La Pineda also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

The Aparthotel La Pineda also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
