Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern Hotel Semiramis has a total of 298 guest rooms, which are built over 17 floors, and set amidst almost 2,000m2 of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the Atlantic Ocean and towards the nearby Lago Martianez.

In addition to the above features, 5 guest rooms at the Hotel Semiramis have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Semiramis also offers the use of 8 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 920 people, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with an integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a hard surface tennis court, along with a cardiovascular gymnasium with sauna.

The Hotel Semiramis also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
