The 4 star Hotel Valle Mar has an enviable position overlooking the Lago Martianez, in the popular resort of Puerto de la Cruz on the north West Coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 28km west of the Los Rodeos International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1960 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern low rise Hotel Valle Mar has a total of 160 guest rooms, including 145 standard twin rooms and a further 15 singles, which are built over 5 floors.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the Lago Martianez towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a number of guest rooms at the Hotel Valle Mar have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with 4 air conditioned buffet style restaurants and snack bars with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Valle Mar also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 150 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large rooftop swimming pool for adults, offering guests panoramic views over the resort and Mount Teide, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Valle Mar also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment in the Bar Jardin, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
