Built in 1955 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern low rise Hotel Villamil has a total of 125 guest rooms, including 12 single rooms, 100 doubles, 1 Suite and a further 12 Junior Suites, which are built over 3 floors, and set amidst 7,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Paguera.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have panoramic views across the bay. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with a choice of 2 air conditioned restaurants offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Villamil also offers the use of 2 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat up to 70 and 34 guests respectively, both of which are fully equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the bay which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and hair salon, a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.
