Built in 1985 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern low rise Lord Nelson complex has a total of 154 self catering apartments and studio flats that are built over 5 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms on the complex are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator and a combined lounge/dining room with safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the beach, which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Lord Nelson Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
