The 3 key Palmeras Playa Apartments are situated around 200 metres from the sea front promenade and Playa Martianez beach, in the popular resort of Puerto de la Cruz on the north West Coast of Tenerife. The apartments are approximately 28km west of the Los Rodeos International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1975 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the modern Palmeras Playa complex has a total of 225 self catering studio type apartments, which are built over 12 floors, and set amidst spacious sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, direct dial telephone, pay per view satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views.

In addition to the above features, 1 guest room at the Palmeras Playa Apartments has also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Palmeras Playa Apartments also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 200 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, along with a hard surface tennis court, sauna, giant chess and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Palmeras Playa Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
